DESTINATION SUCCESS: Discovering the Entrepreneurial Journey

By Sri Gaddam

Do you ever feel like you have all the tools and qualities in place, but lack the drive, motivation, or even inspiration to succeed? You are not alone. We all experience a lack of passion at one time or another. Passion is the fuel that propels the car; without it, you are stuck, unable to move forward, and without a necessary energy source. This story is a true one, and it happens more than we’d like to admit. In fact, you’ll likely feel a sense of familiarity with the forthcoming story. I would guess that is because we all have a little bit of John within us. In each of us resides a remarkable desire to succeed and feel happy about it in the process. But we then weigh that feeling against securing passion and purpose in our day-to-day lifestyle.

So, whom is this book written for? To start, this fable is told for anyone that wakes up, and heads to work wondering if there is more to life. Do you feel professionally unfulfilled? If you do, you are not alone. There is an army of people that look and act just like you. And if that describes you, then this story will be one of hope, if only to inspire you to survey your life, and make the necessary changes to elevate it.

Throughout this story, you’ll learn real lessons from entrepreneurs who have crafted a lifestyle centered on purposeful work that is both satisfying and meaningful. These successful business owners and industry leaders have often lived through trial by fire, overcoming obstacles and challenges directly in their paths to become difference-makers and game-changers. You’ll find that many of these business leaders attended extremely challenging business programs like the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard, and used real life lessons to become trailblazers in their respective industries. The OPM program is a fantastic opportunity and welcomes successful business owners of all different shapes and sizes.

The collective knowledge of these exciting businessmen and women will serve as examples of people who have strived to create “trophy” lifestyles, and refuse to settle for anything but eternal happiness. After reading this book, you will find yourself in similar company. The experts interviewed and supporting stories will encourage valuable lessons that will help you to analyze your own life, evaluate your level of happiness, and if needed, begin a transformation to a better version of your current status.

Together, we can manifest great change in your life. Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Our story will be one of courage—the courage to take great risk to find great reward. With that said, I would like for you to meet my friend John.
